Mobile ready plugins

I have been using word press for quite some time now. Recently, google made a statement that they were going to penalize sites for not being compatible with mobile devices. I want to know what plugin I can use to make my website more compatible with mobile devices. Any advice will help.

Penalize sites!? I have never heard about any news like that so far. Can you provide me link regarding this news? Not all members can do it easily. They should know this fact. For me I am having blog with the blogger platform which is of Google itself. So I guess they are providing mobile view too by default. So I don't need to worry about this thing. But still it is an important news for everyone.
