How do you come up with your domain name?

For me, it takes ages to come up with a domain name I like. First, I try to brainstorm a couple of names I like. Then, I will find out if competitor sites have similar names. Lastly, I will ask friends and maybe on sites like this one to get some feedback.

I usually think of some things that go with the niche and then I write them down and chose the best ones out of all of them.
