How do i make mybb support for mobile browsers?

Is there a simple way for MyBB so support browsing on mobile? Something like a free theme?
I tested some opensource forum software, and was a bit disappointed that MyBB didn't support it out of the box, when even phpBB that is constantly bashed for being dated does it.

SMF has the same problem, by the way.
