To disable the NetworkManager in VPS or Dedicated server, please follow the below steps.

To disable Network Manager on CentOS 6, CloudLinux 6, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (RHEL), or Amazon Linux, run the following commands.
Code:
service NetworkManager stop
chkconfig NetworkManager off
To disable Network Manager on CentOS 7, CloudLinux 7, or RHEL 7

Code:
systemctl stop NetworkManager.service
systemctl disable NetworkManager.service
